Future Soldier:

Comms & Connectivity

Our future soldier system can be seen as taking two strands: the wearable and the peripheral, that is, what a soldier physically carriers in gear, and what helps them achieve their mission.

OUR CAPABILITIES

In today’s rapidly transforming armed forces, the infantryman continues to play a central role to the success of operational objectives. Complex mission scenarios call for capabilities enabling high-mobility operations, often navigating difficult, unfamiliar terrain

Increasingly often, the infantryman has to operate in urban areas and under extreme climatic conditions. He has to contend with new threats, and frequently faces attacks from irregular forces.
Infantry and special operations teams have to be able to carry out a multiplicity of highly diverse missions. This doesn't just require new force structures; it requires modern equipment specifically tailored to the task.

SOLUTION BENEFITS

Our solutions focus on solving the core problems with legacy soldier systems: communications and connectivity. This includes communicating with other soldiers, a robot or an unmanned system, as well as how all the aspects of a soldier’s kit interact with one another - from an IP helmet cam to the radio and the batteries that power the equipment.

Advanced technologies can make a major contribution to improving the survivability, C4I capabilities, sustainability, mobility and lethality of modern military operations. Our aim is a well protected and equipped soldier, with a clear view of the tactical situation and reliable means of communication.

We provide troops with an open infantry system based on communication technology equipment designed to be easy to use even under tough field conditions.
